I tried switching from the Samsung Messages app to Google Messages recently. However, not all my messages are showing up in the Google Messages app. For example: Some of my replies with a contact are missing.

I switched back for now but I really would like to know how to do this since Samsung is pushing hard for the switch over. I don't want to lose my messages history.

I have the Note20 Ultra on AT&T.

When you first switch everything doesn't populate immediately. It takes time for Google Messages to index all of the older threads. Wait a day or so, especially if you have a massive amount of messages.

Some could hsve ended up in the spam tab. Check there if they don't come back. Cluck your initial snd tap spam and blocked to view, and, if any are there, mark them as not spam and they will go back to your message feed.
