I thought it was the phone because my providers IT department COULD NOT help me so I bought S21 Ultra and the same problem is still happening!! Does this happen to anyone else. Someone told me it could be a software problem with Samsung!

Hey there @userlt5HCdAWWQ, I hope you're doing well.

 

Sounds like you have type of automation set up that is running in the background. Can you please check if you have a Bixby Routine set? Go to Settings>Advanced features>Bixby routines>

Under "My routines", see if there are any that suggest that the phone will be muted.

 

You can also check your Do not disturb schedule by going to Settings>Notifications>Do not disturb and check if anything is scheduled in there.

The resolution about S20 and new S22Ultra's muting . Worked great. So far it's been 4 day and NO MUTING!!! Thank you so much,!!! Mary B. 

No one at my carrier had a clue, all the way to Specialist IT. Your great thank you!
