Need the option to disable notifications during music play

Samsung REALLY needs to add an option to disable notifications during music play.  I hate the interruptions.

You could always turn on do not disturb while the music is being played.

Great option. you could also put your phone on silent, in your notification panel you have a sound mode button with 3 settings, sound, vibration, or mute. Mute should allow you to see the notifications but they shouldn't interrupt the music. Just make sure to switch it back to sound afterwards.

I set a Bixby routines to set do not disturb while Spotify is in use and to cancel it when I close Spotify.
