I purchase a new screeen protector, designed especifically for s20 note, but now my finger scan does not work. Any suggestions other than removing the screen protector

Try this to solve your problem:  go to settings/display     scroll down to "touch sensitivity" and turn-on.

Hopefully this works!

Mine did the same thing on the S20. After a few days, it worked fine. A lot of times there's moisture obscuring the fingerprint for the first few days. I only noticed this bc i drove from Jersey to Florida straight thru. Once i arrived in Florida I saw the condensation under the fingerprint. It works great now.

have you registered fingerprint before applying screen protector? or after?

best way is to remove the screen protector,  but try re-register your fingerprint with screen protector on.

this is what I'm using and it works perfectly.

make sure to:
1) delete all previously saved fingerprints.
2) have touch sensitivity under display enabled.
3) re-register fingerprints after 1 & 2 are done.

like my response if this helps thanks
