when you're in the text message you'll see a little arrow like this ">", click on that and it will give you the option to add a photo. You'll see a little picture icon and a camera icon. you can simply press and hold on the photo and then select save attachment. or you can also select forward to automatically forward that picture to someone without having to save it.
