This started yesterday. The clicking that you hear when your S10's aperture is adjusting began happening repeatedly. I would be scrolling through Instagram (not using the camera) and the clicking would begin to occur every 3 or so seconds (repeatedly). While this was happening if I tried to use the camera on the camera app or any other app the camera would be completely blacked out. The clicking would continue until I fully turned off restarted my phone. This has happened multiple times now. Does this mean I've been hacked or something?

Thank you for reaching out. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

1. Try resetting the camera settings. This will set them back to default.

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap the Settings icon and select Reset Settings

2. Clear the app cache. I recommend doing this for all apps that have access to your camera, such as Social Media apps

Does the excessive clicking only begin when using another app or does this occur when using the stock camera app also?
