In every Facebook post, Facebook Messenger, or regular messaging app it is automatically inserting a,(comma) or ? (question mark) every time I pause what I'm saying.  I tried a different keyboard and that made no difference. This just started a few days ago and I'm wondering if it's from an update. it's also doing it here in this post

HELP!

@user2PZwO7suIB Have you tried clearing the cache for the apps?

I'm not very tech-savvy and not even sure how to do that on Facebook. Facebook Messenger or my messaging app.. If that's a problem. wouldn't it seem strange that this happened at the same time with all of them?

Thanks...

Thank you for reaching out. Have you tried resetting the keyboard to default settings? To reset the keyboard to default settings, Go to settings > general management > Language and Input > On-screen Keyboard > tap on Samsung Keyboard > and tap on reset to default settings. To clear the cache for the Facebook app go to settings > apps > Facebook > tap on storage and clear the cache.

I did try resetting to default my SwiftKey keyboard. I also uninstalled reinstalled it. And changed to the regular keyboard, but none of those resolved the issue.

I also tried the Facebook steps that you told me about the options and steps you gave me were not on my version of Facebook. There was no storage/ clear cache that I can find in any of the setting options.thanks

Have you tried wiping the cache partition on your device? Give these steps a try:

1.    Turn off the device.
2.    Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
3.    When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4.    An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5.    Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6.    Press Power key to select.
7.    Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8.    When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9.    Press the Power key to restart the device.
