I was using my camera talking pics and it just all of the sudden stopped working on my Galaxy S8. When you go to camera, it takes about 3 seconds and it takes you back to your home screen. Strangest thing I've ever seen. I even had the IT guy from the school where I sub look at it & it puzzled him as well. I'll try anything. Please help
You can run the diagnostic tests in the support tab of the Members app at the bottom to see what it says

I've actually heard of this happening, although it is on iPhones that I've heard of it. It usually has something to do with a ribbon cable for the Flash being loose or not properly connected. Have you ever had it repaired?
