Galaxy S PhonesDears,
I have a question.
I cropped a picture using Samsung Photo Editor on Samsung to remove confidential data.
I shared it with someone.
Can he revert to the original?
When I download back the picture to my gallery I am able to revert. Which makes me concerned.
Thanks for the reply
Regards

Galaxy S Phones@LongHiker Thank you for the answer
Actually I uploaded a cropped photo on a social platform. The original picture contains confidential data.
But when I downloaded again the cropped picture from the platform I still was able to restore the original in my smartphone.
This made me very stressed thinking that the platform would also been able to restore it.

Galaxy S Phones@Alpli After you posted it, did you delete the original from your Gallery and empty the Gallery trash before downloading it again?
I quickshared a cropped photo to another phone. There was no Revert available on the other phone.

Galaxy S Phones@LongHiker yes I did.
I deleted the original and trash and even cache and app data.
And I am still able to revert it. The cropped is 65kb while the original is above 1mb.
So I don't know where phone editor stores the original so that it can revert it.
BECAUSE WHEN I sent it to another phone and there I was hopefully not able to revert.
Also when I share it with dual whatsapp I am not able to revert that one.
Here is an exemple picture to test.

Galaxy S PhonesThat is a very good question, because I have noticed that even if you delete something and empty your trash can and clear your cache, if that person has had access to your Gmail/Google account that they can then restore it even if you have since changed your credentials and added additional security steps for login?
Additionally my files folder is a subsection in a folder labeled Samsung... Where do I access the Google files folder? Are they one in the same?
