Feature Request: be able to switch between regular/fast charging when plugging in phone

I wish that Samsung allows upon plugging the phone to switch between regular & fast charging, instead of having to dig into settings! Imagine how convenient since sometimes I need it to be Fast.

It should be automatic at which speed a phone charges. If you are not using a fast charger or a cable capable of fast charging, you will not get fast charging. It's as simple as that.

That's not what am looking at. Depending on where I am (work or home) i toggle between fast and regular charging. If we get to choose which speed upon plugging in the phone it will help a lot.

The only choice you would have would be to toggle off fast charging when you want to slow charge.

Yes am aware. But for people who flip between both, having the ability to do that upon plugging in without going to settings (a toggle on the screen that appears on screen for 10 seconds, and defaults to whatever in settings upon no response) would be very helpful, especially if you are in a haste. Cause sometimes you plug it and need a little bit of juice while in a hurry and you forget it's on Slow mode.

I don't know why people would switch back and forth.  You want an all or nothing solution.  Keep a slow charger for the location you want slow charging and a fast charger for when you want fast charging.  You don't always need to charge your battery to full either.  Sometimes you just need a couple of hours' worth of a charge until you get to a place where you can charge it in full.

@IyadJabbour I just checked, and you can setup a routine to do this. Go into phone settings -> Modes and Routines, click on Routines in middle bottom and then on the + sign in upper right.

Thank you. Very helpful if you have a set routine. Works for days or when at work. But I guess also you have to have the GPS on to recognize you are at work (since only God knows how often you have work wifi, working), and for some reason for instance my S25U drained battery like nothing else so fast! So i try to keep minimal Settings On including GPS.
Again, the routines are helpful in set areas & times. Sometimes I might need my phone for just a little bit of time before going to sleep so enough before putting it on charge (I limit to %80). So I can't rely on Routines only

You can put a routine widget on the screen. Then you can just click it to invoke it. You can do one to turn off fast charging and one to turn it on.
