So, follow up, I had to uninstall my companies account off my phone. Then, I was able to turn off the Google Play protect and update all my apps and install the ones I needed.

Hello,

Some of my apps, not all of them, won't update. This is Progressive, Pokemon Go, CVS, Disney+, Google Chrome, Google Family Link, Nextdoor, Wyze. Most of my apps do update normally. My daughters Galaxy Tab S3 also cannot update Minecraft. She has her own account

Steps I've taken, but no success

  1. Deleted one of the apps to install fresh. That didn't help and now I do not have the app at all
  2. Deleted cache/data for impacted apps. No help
  3. Storage space is fine (I am using about 150 of 500 gb)
  4. Android is fully up to date
  5. Cleared cache and data of Google
  6. Cleared cache and data of download manager
  7. Cleared Cache/data on Google Play, then uninstalled updates and reinstalled

I did not remove/re-add google account as I am not sure if that will totally screw up my phone, but if someone thinks it's quick and not a biggy i will do it

In reference to #7, google play services, or google play store? I too have had strange continuous issues for years on multiple devices with the play store, play services, play updates, app updates, etc., pretty much anything google. I have to periodically hunt down and manually perform tasks the apps and services are supposed to do automatically. Specifically updating the google play store. Not assuming you don't already know this, but if not go to settings in the play store->about->update play store. Happy hunting šŸ¤¦

Hello -

I need some apps on my phone.

The apps are compatible with this device and I have ample storage space. After downloading and then installing the app, you get an error triangle notification about the app couldn't be installed. I am in the US and the Android version is 14.

I have tried with and without wifi and also cleared the Google play storage and cache.

Apps in question are Fidelity, and Rippling. It happens intermittently on other apps but resolves itself through repeat attempts. I spoke with Fidelity tech support and they report their app is fine.

What can I do?

Nick
