How can I hide old contacts?

How do I hide old contacts?  I don't want to delete them.

You can move them to the secure folder app, and they will be hidden on your android. You might have to set up secure folder if you haven't done so.

Open the Contacts app on your phone and tap on the contact you want to hide. Tap the info icon to open contact details. 

On the top-right corner of the screen, tap the three vertical dots and choose “Move to Secure Folder”.
