Galaxy S PhonesThis app is the biggest piece of junk ever forced onto my phone my phone updated to it February 21st. I can no longer use any ringtones cant find a folder to even add ringtones the only ringtones/sounds available are the default junk. I see from many other posts many people are having the same issue. Cant delete it. Samsung please update and delete this app everyone hates it or tell us how to fix it. So far every answer given has helped no one.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 model number SM-G965U

Galaxy S PhonesClearing cache and data didn't fix the problem for me.
After trying a few things I got it sorted too.
Go to settings->apps then tap the three dots on the top right and select Show System Apps.
Find the Sound Picker app in the list and tap on it then go in Sorage and clear cache and data.
Go back to app info and tap on Permissions and turn off sorage access for the app.
Close settings and go and pick a song for ringtone.
The Sound picker will ask for permission to access storage. Allow the request and now it should work fine.
Or at least this is how mine got fixed.
Hope it hepls some.
If it does please like my post. 🙂
Cheers
