Galaxy S PhonesAs soon as my galaxy s9 update I started getting a omadm firmware error msg and it keeps popping up no matter what I have done. I've factory reset, soft reset. And nothing has helped.

Galaxy S Phones
Hope you are doing well, my friend!
Sorry to hear about this update issue.
Please try one of the following:
- Remove SIM from SIM card tray and re-insert SIM. 4007 error message disappears, remove the device if the error reappears.
- Go to Settings > Apps > System apps > OMADM > force stop. The 407 error message will disappear from the notification bar.
- Go to Settings > Apps > System apps > OMADM > Storage > clear data. The 407 error message will disappear from the notification bar.
You may need to try the fix below otherwise.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Software update' and hit 'UICC Unlock'
It loads for a moment, then says SIM Restricted... Hit 'OK'
It takes you back to the 'Settings' > 'Software update screen'. Hit 'Download and install'
It loads for a moment, then says Your software is up to date...
Then open that notification saying the profile didn't update.
It loads for a minute, then says Profile updated... Hit 'OK'
It loads again for another minute and says something similarly. Hit 'OK'
Otherwise does the below help?
- Boot into Safe Mode and try this action again. If it works you may need to remove any recently installed apps. Then reboot to try again.
- Try wiping the device cache and then this action again.
- Try resetting the device and then this action once again.
If that did not correct the issue the next step may be to have the software reflashed. I know this can be done at any authorized service center. https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung
You may also need to reach out to your carrier on specific firmware update issues like this.

Galaxy S PhonesThose suggestions provided a very temporary (about an hour) fix for me, but
I tried something different today that seems to be working (no messages in almost 8 hours).
Go to Settings > Apps. Click the three dots at the top, and select "Show system apps."
Select "OMADM"
Select "Notifications"
Under "Notification style" click "Silent and minimized."
I also have under OMADM "Change System Settings" = Not allowed. I don't know if that has an impact or not because that alone didn't work before I did the sequence I described above, but I'm not turning it back on just in case allowing it to change system settings means allowing it to undo what I did with the notifications.
There is also (on my phone) a "Sprint OMADM Phone Interface" but I don't know if it has any impact. I have it also set not to allow changes to system settings.

Galaxy S PhonesHello! I have had this problem since July. I tried clearing the cache. That did not work. I tried removing the SIM card, yet here I am. I am hoping this post wil produce a solution. In the meantime, I will back up any files I have just in case. Please and thank you!

Galaxy S PhonesHi There, I found the solution, but only applies for tablets. Is very simple, put it on AIRPLANE MODE, then you won't receive this tedious and annoying notification!!!
