Samsung Messages: RCS no longer working

Samsung Messages were blue now they are back to green. I can no longer see if someone is typing and the "advanced messaging" option is gone

I thought it would be smart to try Google messages. Didn't like it so I switched back. It kept saying registration failed so I got on support with Samsung, deactivated my number in Google. The support guy remotely reinstall Google messages.  I told him I want to go back to Samsung messages that have been blue since last year! Now they're back to green plus the advance feature is gone. I have the chat options on but nothing. Can't see read receipts or typing.

Mine still works with certain people. They have a blue dot next to their contact icon

Samsung messages is no longer supported. If you want RCS, either bite the bullet and use Google messages or use a iphone.

Absolutely not true I have Unlocked S24 Ultra on Spectrum/Verizon and I have RCS Messaging using Samsung Messages (just doesn't have all of the features of Google Messages)

And only takes a another minute to read the article since right in the link you posted says NO LONGER PRE-INSTALLING

I have read other posts saying that you would need to disable RCS Messaging in Google Messages first then should start working with Samsung Messages again
