Samsung Messages offers a superior user experience, seamlessly integrating features unlike Google Messages. While Google Messages offers RCS, the lack of gallery file sharing and note integration is a significant drawback. The absence of these features in Google Messages is concerning, especially considering Samsung's previous support for RCS. Collaboration between the companies to offer users options such as Samsung emoji and gallery integration within Google Messages would be beneficial. Furthermore, the current Google Messages interface is aesthetically unappealing and lacks the engaging features found in Samsung Messages.

RCS is going away from Samsung messages app starting January 6th 2025. You'll have to move back to Google messages to use RCS, or stick with SMS & MMS on Samsung messages app.

Im just going off annoyance, sorry. Indeed, I concur; however, Samsung integration should be a priority. While Google Messages for RCS is acceptable, allowing users to set Samsung Gallery or Google photo as the default, we should not have to go through steps to look at samsung Gallery, etc. Let us share Samsung Notes, and utilize message categories is crucial. The discontinuation of Samsung Messages is unacceptable lol; I, too, prefer RCS but am now using Google Messages due to its removal from samsung messages.

I Agree! But you have to consider the fact, Samsung and Google are collaborating with Gemini A.I and many other things O.S based as well, so they've probably made there peace in a sense that supporting Google Messages full throttle is the best option as it would give more integration capabilities with Google's A.I Gemini and GoogleNotebook LLM. Not the direction we all want it to go. But can't do much there.

Any enhancements you want for Google messages should be addressed in the Google forums. Google is not in Samsung's control.
