Since this started after the update, try clearing the cache partition. This procedure has sometimes helped to fix glitches and issues after updates.
Wiping the "cache partition" is safe and won't remove your settings or app files. It clears unnecessary files, some of which may be corrupt.
Clear the cache partition, follow the steps below;
-Shut phone off (shut down)
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
- When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Side key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, then press the Side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Side key to restart the device.

I did this, and it's still doing it. I love to play 8 ball pool, and as I play, my whole screen becomes unusable until I press the side key to reset.
