I'm regularly having issues connecting to airplane internet. The wifi connects, but without internet. I tried a general reset, network reset, rebooting the phone, forgetting the network, and probably some other stuff with no luck.

I tried a Samsung support chat this morning that may be the stupidest chat conversation of my life. It was like they were purposely ignoring my description of the problem.

Any help out there?

When you are connected but without internet, it means your devices are connected to the Wi-Fi router, but the modem is not providing a stable connection to the actual internet. On networks like those in hotels or on planes, this also happens when you have not entered the proper login credentials. You should be prompted to go to a sign-in page and enter the credentials needed. The plane will then connect you.

Thanks. The issue seems to be with my phone though, because everyone around me (including my wife yesterday ) was connected without problems

Ensure that you do not have the network SSID saved. Connecting to airplane network allows you access to just their services until you either pay for a connection beyond their service or if your plan allows for wifi on airplanes. You also need to have wifi calling enabled to use your carrier's data services-no voice services allowed yet.

Yes, @kcb88, very important that you have a valid E911 afdress and have used wifi calling at least once.
