Galaxy S PhonesHello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can understand the frustration of One UI Home crashing when accessing recent apps, and would like to look further into this for you, in addition to what @Robin621k suggested to do.
First, let's see if third-party applications are the root cause of this behavior. You can check with Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
If One UI Home does not crash in Safe mode, then uninstall third-party applications until proper behavior is restored.
If it still crashes under Safe mode, then it may be time to try a factory reset. Make sure to back up everything prior (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00060517/) and then perform the factory reset, giving your device a fresh start: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
Here is also the guide on troubleshooting freezing and crashing of your Samsung device: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001440/
If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.
You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S.: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html.
