Adding national holidays on new calendar

Just upgraded from s10 to s21. Of course smartwitch did not copy over my calendar. My old calendar had national holidays. How do I get them to load into new calendar. All I have read on line does not get me there. Thanks

They should show in the Samsung calendar mine always has may want to check for updates

Are you using the Google Calendar app or the Samsung Calendar app?

Open calendar app, tap the 3 bars at the top left, scroll down to manage calenders, add any category you want.

Your old calendar may have been importing holidays from your Google account.

To check settings on your new phone:

1. Open the Samsung Calendar app and tap the three-lines menu in the upper left corner.

2. Go to the bottom of the menu and tap "Manage Calendars".

3. Tap the plus sign ( + )

4. If the Google account shown does NOT have a colored dot, tap on Google in the list to connect Calendar to your Google account.

I think you should now get an option to import holidays etc. into your Samsung calendar. I don't use a Google account myself so I can't check this for you.
