I have found that deleting files are place into other, under system data. This causes the file to look deleted, but still take up the same space. A factory reset is the only way to totally delete said files. Is there a better way to actually delete files?

Galaxy S21Go to the "my files" app scroll down to "analyze storage" you'll see and area called "trash" where tou can permanently delete files
