Hi, everyone! I just recently got and set up the Galaxy S21 Plus. The issue I'm having is that my lock screens are set up to use fingerprint, then pass code as a backup, BUT if I press the power button on the side it bypasses all my lock screens and just unlocks my phone. Definitely not secure. I can't figure out how to get it to stop.
I have smartlock disabled and motions and gestures are all turned off.
Any and all help very much appreciated!

Do you have face recognition on or off?

Are you locking the phone by clicking the side key and then clicking the side key to try to unlock? Be aware that if Smart Lock is enabled, clicking the side key to lock will not lock the phone. It only turns the screen off.  Reference Settings -> Lock screen -> Secure lock settings -> Lock instantly with side key.

Ah ha! I turned off face recognition (didn't realize it was on) and that fixed the issue! Many thanks!
