Hi experts!

I listen to podcasts when out working in garden, etc. With my S21 in my pocket.

But it very frequently skips ahead, or back or even out of the app and opens another app. Something equivalent to butt dialing.  But it drives me nuts!

What can I do to start a podcast then set the phone so is no longer accepts accidental touches, bounces or movement in my pocket that deflects from what I am listening to?

Is there a way to "lock" the screen

There is a setting.
Go to settings>display>accidental touch protection> turn slider on.
Here's the description.

Accidental touch protection Protect your phone from accidental touches when it's in a dark place, such as a pocket or bag.

That setting never works for me. In my pocket my phone will often open multiple apps.

This setting never works for me either. Always have accidental touches in pocket. Especially when working outside. Using Fold 6

Try putting a screen lock, then just turn your screen off by just pressing the power/side button. That's the only other thing I can think of. That's what works for me with audible on my s24 Ultra.
