Sometimes app updates from the play store will cause them to crash. It's an Android issue, not necessarily a Samsung issue. I have had a few things that will cause Instagram to crash. In the last few Instagram updates, I've encountered bugs in them. The app will crash when I try a certain task. Sometimes rolling back to a previous app version will fix this as well as turning off auto update apps.
