When my Android software update processed on June 21, most Always On Display options went away. Really liked the month calendar. Hopefully that gets fixed.
Go to wallpapers, click on the left screen and then click on the clock. When the slide up appears, choose the calendar to replace the clock. Third row down, 1st column. Click done, on the finished edit, and then it should appear on your AOD
Samsung is under constraints of what Google wants. Therefore, Samsung is using a modular approach to give people back some of the functionality they got used to, which is why they created Good Lock. Personally, I think this modular approach is better, since giving a uniform system update to carriers among different brands, makes it easier for the carriers to tweak for their networks.
