Bug w/ Latest update - Wallpaper Color Palette

Since update One UI 5.1, the feature to change the wallpaper & style color palette no longer pops up after changing wallpaper. When going to it manually in settings, only the color palette of the last wallpaper prior to the update loads, there is still an option for the basic colors, but no option to get the wallpaper color palette refreshed for the current wallpaper.

I've tried restarting, toggling the color palette on and off, and nothing has worked so I'm assuming it's a bug with the latest update. I change my wallpaper every week or two so that's how I noticed that it stopped working.

I'm using a Samsung galaxy s22 ultra.
Anyone else having this problem?

**Edit - UPDATE**

Hello everyone, just following up on this. Our engineers have advised the default theme needs to be present for the color palette to work correctly, as it does not apply to third-party wallpapers or themes.

If you're using a default theme and wallpaper, and the device still does not recognize the patterns, you may need to perform a factory data reset on your device. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

Same exact issue here as well. Haven't been able to change the color pallette for a long time. Googled the issue, and found this discussion. Using Galaxy S21. Here is the message I receive when I try to change the color pallette. Screenshot. If I choose apply all it does is apply a stock galaxy wallpaper. Screenshot_20231010_093837_Wallpaper and style.jpg

I was able to apply a basic color, close the settings, and reopen the settings to find the wallpaper palettes reset to my current wallpaper colors

Unfortunately that doesn't work in my case. I tried but when I open settings and tap color pallette I get the same message. If I select apply, then wallpaper sets to a default galaxy one and I can choose a color pallette. But when I change back to a purchased theme/wallpaper, from the galaxy store, and go back to settings for the color pallette I get the same message. Very frustrating. Maybe it's because I'm using a theme, and not just a stand alone wallpaper? I will test that and comment back!

Aha!! So I have determined that, in my case, the color pallette option does not work when using a theme applied. If I use a free theme, that I downloaded from the galaxy store, I cannot change the color pallette. However, the color pallette option did work when I just used a wallpaper. First I applied a default galaxy stock wallpaper. Went to settings, color pallette and chose colors from the options given for the stock wallpaper. Then I went in and applied a free wallpaper from the galaxy store. Went back to settings and was able to choose a color pallette from the downloaded free wallpaper.
Long story short, color pallette works with downloaded wallpapers, but does not work with downloaded themes.

Hello @ItsTeacup Can you review what @IamGr00T2  stated above? If you try this on your end does this work?

It may be a feature change, where it's not able to be customized based on specific themes being used.
