Has the Galaxy S22+ always had the edge lighting feature?

So ive had my s22 for like 2 years now. And i didnt know until like 10 minutes ago that it had the edge lighting feature!!! This is my favorite feature i swear !!! But when i first got it i swear it didn't have the feature. So did they add it with one of the updates or something? I remember thinking when i first got it **bleep** it doesnt have edge lighting. But anyways just curious if anyone new if it was added.

@Stoney08 I'm glad that you discovered this feature! This has been available since about the S6 Edge+, so about 10 years.

@Stoney08 If you want even more mind blowing customization with Edge lighting, go to the Galaxy store (not the Play store) and download Samsung's Good Lock. Open Good Lock and install the Edge lighting+ module. Using this you can set a custom style for Edge lighting. You can even use your own icon or picture as the item that appears on the screen in many different formats.

Yeah my s24 is supposed to have it but that's just another feature that has never worked since I got this third S24- first two were so broken I had to return them right away. This one's just as bad a couple months later. Samsung in T-Mobile don't give a **bleep** their phones are trash

**bleep**. Ive never had an issue like that with T-Mobile but when i had to switch my sim to the T-Mobile sim i had to switch several sims because there was always something wrong with it. But i agree T-Mobile needs to get it together!

LOL it's hilarious that they respond to you and are so happy that you love this feature, but I cannot get them to respond to me about any issues. No support on the fact that every day I get the message that "Android system stopped working" or that I've had a Wi-Fi error message for over a month now, this phone has never Wireless charged and most of the time won't fast charge. Since this is the third one I've been through I wanted to go backwards a model and get an s23 but they did not like that solution and instead just keep trying to have me troubleshoot this one which obviously is not **bleep** **bleep** **bleep** working

They suck foreal. Can you change companies? I used to threaten to change on there *** and then they would jump through hoops to try to fix the issue.
