How to see the number of photos and videos in Samsung Gallery?

Hello does anyone know how to see the exact number of photos and videos saved on my phone? It just shows gigabytes instead of number.

Open gallery, tap on 3 dots in the top right corner > select all

That selects albums tho

You can also go to the file manager, navigate to the DCIM folder, and the item count in each of your folders (if you made albums) is listed.  You can add up the count of all the albums.  If you did not make albums, there is one album (camera album) and it should have the total count.

that's a lot of extra.

and camera only has total # of what you have physically taken. not downloaded or screen recorded or screen shot

You know, I never noticed the tiny numbers below each album

ok. open gallery, tap pictures on bottom left, then tap 3 dots top right, select all
