Hyperlinks no longer show up in Notes

Hyperlinks no longer show up in Notes. I now have to take the added step of highlighting the text, copying and pasting into a browser. 

Anyone know a reason or fix for this?

@DanielHoward To create a hotlink in a note. Open both Notes and the browser at the same time in split window. Then a menu will appear so you can create a link in the open Note.

Just found the same thing in my notes after the update Samsung Notes no longer recognizes and creates hyperlinks.  And worse it made "inactive" all existing hyperlinks.   Is there indeed a fix for this?   I've toggled on and off the settings etc.

I'm having the same problem. What's the fix to reverting it back to old version of being able to just click on the link without higlighting the text of the url?

@JessRam To be able to click the link and go to the page, make sure that Samsung Notes is in Reading mode. Click this icon to toggle the Note into reading mode.

This seems to be a recent update and makes no sense at all, as previous users have described above, when you go into your saved note, you now have to click the reading mode icon to display links. When you go into editing mode the links normally disappear anyway so don't know why they've now made them disappear when you first go into the note and now have to click on reading mode, Samsung please revert back.
