Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this  upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.

Get rid of the permanent buttons Bluetooth and wifi !!! They were MUCH better off in the Quick panel as customizable. All of these stupid permament gigantic buttons that now take up so much space should have been left in the Quick panel. So stupid. Whoever approved the new Quick panel is a complete MORON

We've also lost the ability to end phone calls with the new quick panel extended. Notifications also disappear when extended. We now have 4 useless un-removable buttons at the bottom and 2 useless un-removable buttons at the top.

Eye comfort shield, dark mode, smart view and device control. Buttons that were WAY better off as removable in the main part of the quick panel. I will almost never use those buttons. If I did, I'd put them in the quick panel. It's a huge waste of space and makes the device much more difficult to use with one hand.

The majority of the changes made to the quickpanel were mandated by Google to bring those god awful fat buttons to non-pixel devices.

The whole thing feels very iphone like to me. Nothing in the quick panel is really customizable anymore. Might as well get an iPhone at this point šŸ¤·ā€:male_sign:

@user8HUYZDRZo8 Editing the quick panel is still possible to a degree. Try this:

  1. Open the Quick panel
  2. Click the pencil icon
  3. Click the Edit button under Full. Now you can add/remove/rearrange items in the Full panel.
  4. In a similar vein, if you click the edit button under Top, you can add/remove/rearrange items in the Top quick panel.

That doesn't allow me to remove any of the gigantic 6 buttons: wifi, bluetooth on top....or the 4 giant useless buttons on the bottom.

What you are talking about is where those 6 buttons should still be located.

Hello

I am terribly disappointed with One UI 6 Quick Panel design usability.

Hardcoded position of WiFi, Bluetooth, Smart View and Device Control buttons are in the OPPOSITION to Samsung's own One UI Design Principles that claims that UI elements should be accessible using a thumb. This problem has been nicely described by Sammobile in more detail:

https://www.sammobile.com/opinion/one-ui-6-redesigned-quick-panel-bad-for-one-hand-use/

Although looking pretty good, usability of One UI 6 Quick Panel is very bad. WiFi and Bluetooth, as the MOST FREQUENTLY used buttons are THE LEAST ACCESSIBLE on a mobile device - you can't reach it with your thumb as you used to in One Ui 5.

On the other hand, Smart View and Device Control buttons, being THE LEAST FREQUENTLY USED, are THE EASIEST to reach - both are within easy reach of your thumb.

Being 12 years in software mobile industry, currently being software architect, my judgement is that current Quick Panel design would be good for PCs, but is terrible for mobile devices.

I understand this is the new Design that is unlikely to be changed, so I would like to propose a mitigation of its current design flaw:

Please allow CUSTOMIZATION of all 4 buttons: Wifi, Bluetooth, Smart View and Device Control to any action user wants to select. This way users would be able to place eg. WiFi and Bluetooth actions where Smart View and Device Control buttons currently are, greatly increasing panel's usability while maintaining the new Design.

Please implement such change with One UI 6.1.

I agree 100%. I'm extremely disappointed with One UI 6.0. This should NOT count as a software update.
