Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.
The notification shade is so small. I have the tab ultra, and the pull-down is roughly what the size would be on a phone. Unfortunate. Also, the bookcover keyboard was updated, but unfortunately, it still continues to track when you stop your finger. That was an ongoing problem since the s8nseries. Seems like they will never fix it.
When it comes to installing a major update you will see over the next few day's that the battery use is more when the update is fully in the device its self you will see that the battery go back to normal
This weather widgit is a big improvement. If it's going to rain the widgit will tell you what time and how much to expect right on the widgit without having to click on it. It will also tell you eg it will be 5 degrees warmer/cooler tomorrow. I'm hoping will get warnins on the widgit itself.
It's not perfect though. There is no black color for darkmode. Also darkmode was removed from the other weather widgits also.
I also have a major issue with the new update. Before the update, I would have any form of text suggestions under the text box where I was typing, now with the new update, it tries to auto finish my sentences in the text box when typing. As someone who has to look back to see if they typed the right thing, this is a major issue. I can't even see an indicator of where my text stops and the AI's begins.
I was looking for the "OneUI" forum, but couldn't find it, so I'll leave it in here.
With the latest OneUI update, you guys really made it difficult on everyone with the drop down menu. I mean, seriously, I used to be able to drop down the menu fully, tap the text of an icon, i.e. volume, and adjust the volumes individually without using the physical buttons and potentially causing a noise if it's muted. Same goes for the flashlight, to be able to control how bright the flashlight will be. Now I have to hold the icon down to control it. But, with the volume if I hold it down it brings me to the entire settings screen then I have to tap volume and then I can control it.
I know I sound super American, but you really shouldn't have changed it when it was fine the way it was on the last many builds.
