Galaxy S22Hello, There.
I would recommend trying to put your phone into safe mode. Once in safe mode, try taking a photo and go to the gallery to see if the photos are saved in safe mode. If it does work, this means there's a third-party app at play here that's causing the chaos. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
If it's still not working from there, I would recommend a factory reset of the phone to see if this would resolve the symptoms. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
From there if the symptoms are still persisting, Please try to submit an error report, so that our engineers can look into this further.
Steps for Submitting an error report:
1. Open the Menu
2. Press & Hold Samsung Members Icon, Then Tap Error Reports
3. Select the Category of Your Report
4. Make Sure That "Send System Log Data" is Selected to Help Resolve Your Questions Quickly and Describe Your Problem in Detail (Make sure to include the hashtag #SCommunity)
5. Change the Frequency, and send.

Galaxy S22Check if the problem is fixed by manually syncing or turning on auto-sync for your photos.
Hardware issue: Pictures may not save properly if your phone's hardware is broken, such as the storage device or camera module. To see whether it fixes the problem, try a different camera app or a different storage device.
Regards,
Diana

Galaxy S22I had a similar issue. I would check past dates to see if they were saved with an old date. Mine were taken in May and had a date in March. I had to scroll through several hundred photos/videos to locate them. I hope this helps. At least in my instance, I think it has something to do with the phone being powered off with airplane mode active and starting up in the same way. I guess the phone got confused about the date and time. You can update the dates to the actual date they were taken under the file's info. This will put it back in sequence on your album.

Galaxy S22I was camping and on the last day got a message on my phone about some update. I followed the cancel instructions because I didn't have time for that.
I then took a bunch of photos and could see them show up in the little circle window after I took them, but now after I got home they are nowhere to be found. Gallery only show the photos I took before the cancelled update.
Is there a solution to get them back? Why would Galaxy push an update that if you have to delay stops your camera from saving photos?
Please help, can't find so many vacation photos. :'(
