Pictures are not saving to Gallery from an SD card

I downloaded pictures my an sd card to my phone and they usually save to my internal storage and I send them to secure folder gallery. From there I move them out of secure folder and they go to my gallery but this time they send back and forth from my files to secure folder files not gallery.

It just started last night when I downloaded them. I've never had this problem

If they are not on the DCIM folder, they will not be in Gallery unless you directed your storage location to be another folder.

I downloaded just about 50 more from last night's fb game just to see what it did and it sent 24 to the gallery in the secure folder and the others to my files in secure folder

And here they are in my DCIM folder and they are not in my gallery

Perhaps the problem lies with having the gallery in your secure folder.  it may just be me, but I don't understand why anyone keeps their gallery in the secure folder. Try removing it from the secure folder and see what happens.

There is a gallery in secure folder and I have one on my home page but they are 2 different ones

I have tried to download my pics toy computer and it will not load there either but it says something about RAW photos so is that the reason it will not send them to my gallery?

If you are saving in RAW format that is most likely the problem.  Check the file extension on the photos that are not showing up. If you are taking your photos in pro mode, they will save in RAW format. Although they should still show up in Gallery.  Are your photos syncing with Google? If so, are they showing up in Google photos?
