I accidentally deleted all messages in a conversation with a contact in Google Messages on my S22. How do I recover all these messages ?

I can find a Trash bin or recovery option ???

Unfortunately, you can't. Google Messages doesn't have a Recycle Bin...... it should, but it doesn't yet. The best you can do is try to restore your last backup from Samsung Cloud.

- Settings
- Accounts and Backup
- Under Samsung Cloud, go to Restore Data and select your backup.

Wow - that's pretty bad i.e. HUGE functionality gap / missing functionality !.  Why did Samsung change to Google Messages if its lacking even BASIC / expected features like a Recycle bin ?
