I just got an S22 PLUS and the microphone is really muffled and hard to make out on every single app including phone calls?? My friends told me that's just android mic syndrome. But it sounds perfectly fine in the camera app. Just nowhere else, I'm confused??

You should visit yout carrier. If anything, for some reason, on my S21, when i try sending audio messages via SMS, my audios sound muffled and chromatic. I don't have this problem with social media apps.
