Anyone else's Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra overheats since the update? I don't like that because it never heated up before and after the update, it overheats just by texting. Hopefully, there will be a fix for it. At least, I'm using a backup phone until then....🤦🏻‍:female_sign:

Hey there! I absolutely understand how concerning it can be when your device feels like it is overheating. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Give this link a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/ You can also try clearing the cache partition of the phone.

Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
When the green Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press Side key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Side key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Side key to restart the device.

If you're still having the same problem I would suggest doing a factory data reset on the device.

If your phone is getting too warm to touch, repairs would be recommended in order to have the technicians evaluate the device. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair:  https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/ or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

Do you have an unknown number sim card/no mobile data, and in quick settings airplane mode like "half-on"?

I had that as of my update Tues morning & spent ~30 hours "chatting" w/both VZN & Samsung and didn't even come close to getting any help, despite them being directly responsible for the useless device... I might be able to help you-got mine back last night...

Yes! And I got a new sim today, made no difference. Tried to take it out and use esim. Nada. Phone just says emergency calls only and randomly connects to the internet for 5 minutes and that's it.

Bugs in ui update? There is not just bugs . It's totally infested. I have never seen so many posts with issues from an update. With the amount of money spent on a "flagship" phone, you would think the updates would be tested solid. Help me understand !!!!

That's why I'm using an iPhone right now. Until all these bugs are fixed, I'm sticking with iPhone. I like Samsung, but this is the worst update ever. I never had a phone overheat on me besides the s8.

Verizon told me oh well, buy another phone. VZN said we will submit a form and have it repaired in 7 days. We all know that is a lie.

I've been waiting on an update for the bugs and when I do check, it says "Service interrupted. Check back in 24 hours." 🤦🏻‍:female_sign:
