Galaxy S22Switched to light mode but still cannot save starred messages! And if you archive a message and then get a new message from the same person then delete that message it also deletes the archived messages.
Need to have this fixed.. any help out there?

Galaxy S22Hello. I have been chatting with Samsung support for same issue. Usual response, ticket created and will forward to dev team.
Clearly I am not the first one to report this issue.
Best response I got was, this issue should be resolved in the next update. Right.

Galaxy S22Hello @user0OBEAgyKLw, I understand how frustrating it is when the messaging features are not working correctly. There are a couple of things you can try to get the feature working.
First, try clearing the app cache using these steps: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/. This should remove any corrupt data from within the app.
If you are still having the issues, try testing the features with the phone in Safe Mode. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/ This will eliminate the possibility of another app interfering.
If the issues persist while in Safe Mode, the next step would be to have the phone evaluated by a certified technician.
