Unable to set notification sounds to contacts

@unable to set notifications sounds to contact, for either different apps (messanger) or  in contacts on phone. Im able to set the app sounds ringtone.. Help. Love this phone works much better then then 9+ I had. Got my WiFi issue solved. Just this one busy me. Thank you

Tap View More

Tap Notification Sound

All I know is that for contacts, press the contact, press edit, and scroll till you see notification and ringtone sound.

In Google messages, tap on a contact, three dots, details, notifications, scroll down, sound, pick a tone
