App notification sounds

Hi all,

I know this has been asked and I have searched and done as all suggestions, so please help - it's driving me crazy.

I have turned on notification categories, but notification categories does not come up within my apps.

Please any suggestions would be amazing!

You are missing a step. When you go to your app info, tap on notifications. When you scroll down, you will see notification categories, tap that and you will see the categoriies.

Thank you. There's no where to change the sound in there.

You have to tap each category you want a sound for. Tap the one you turned on, then you will get the menu to select the notification type and to select a sound.

I agree. It's a lot of work work for no reason, and not easily intuited.
