Change the icons for contacts

Is there a way to change how the contacts look so to speak? What I'm asking is, is there a way to change their appearance to a square, or a circle like the google phone app? Thank you for the help.

Only way to change those appearances is through the theme store or download different types or launchers. You can also download Good Lock and use Theme Park to customize icon shapes and colors for app icons, not sure about contact icons

I'm good with the app icons. I'd just like to be able to change the conta t icons in the phone app.
