I have an s23+. Recently it began losing battery quicker than normal.

Today I had a podcast playing while at work and the phone died. I didn't think much of it. Figured I would charge it when I got home.

I plugged it in a half hour later and it won't charge. I tried multiple cables and wireless charging. It will not charge. The charging screen doesn't come up and it does not vibrate that it's charging.

I have had it plugged in for about 2 hours and still nothing.

Is my phone dead for good? I am so sad that I may have lost all of my data on the phone if that's the case.

Any help is appreciated!

Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can certainly understand the concern and frustration from your S23+ not charging or turning on. Your phone or tablet may not turn on if you are not charging it properly. If it’s not responding when you are pressing the Power button, let us help you get it working again: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001468/

You can also try the troubleshooting here for the device not charging: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001462/#samsung-phone-or-tablet-is-not-charging...

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:

Just keep it on the charger without messing with it for 8-20 hrs of continuous charging. At some point (I've had to do this twice, first time took 8 hrs second time it took 18+ hrs) the device will light up and begin charging from a completely depleted state. Allow this to charge 100% before removing it or using it and all should be well. FYI. Never allow these device's to completely drain their batteries.  They "Forget" how to charge.  Good luck.

Definitely will try! I'm going to leave it and not touch it and see what happens.

Do you think if I had the battery replaced it would solve the issue IF leaving it on the charger does not work?

Try a direct charge from the wall instead of a power strip. Using the original cable that came with it. Try a combination of things. Wireless charging, charging from your laptop, etc. See what works.
