I used to be able to have different notifications for different apps, such as Instagram. I did a update and now it's gone. This happened to me with another Samsung phone I had, I think it took two or more updates and then I got the option back. I tried several different ways to change the notification sound, but stuck with the last one I had on there. 😔
Check to see if the toggle is on that I mentioned in the beginning if it's toggled off you won't have the option
