Still haven't been able to receive Facebook notifications s23 ultra

So it's been almost 2 years since I've received Facebook notifications on my galaxy s23 ultra. I've tried multiple conversations with samsung, but nothing has helped. I'm hoping with one ui 7 coming, I can finally receive notifications again. Has this happened to anyone else?

I fixed my issue with not getting the notifications for my Samsung messages app by going into the setting and checking on the notification settings. Also by also clearing the cache and after that didnt work clearing the data of the messages app. Didn't get it to work until I changed the style of notification for the actual app itself. I wanted the detail version of the notification but couldn't get it to work. But the brief style of notification works fine. Idk if you tried any of this but it's just a thought. I have the s23 ultra and s25 ultra and never had issues with the Facebook notification. But at the same time I left them be and didnt try to customize it to my liking.

Every other app works fine, Facebook is the only one I can't get notifications. I even had a friend who works for Meta look and he couldn't figure it out.

Yeah idk then. Only other thing I could think of would be to back up your phone and do a factory reset but I wouldn't back up or apply the settings you have set up already. But thats really a big hassle. I wouldn't want to do it myself. It's time consuming and then the major thing would be to make sure you get everything back.

Is it Facebook or Facebook messenger you are not getting notifications for?  You can try going to apk mirror and downloading an earlier version of whichever app, uninstalling the current app and turning off the automatic updates in both the app and the play store and installing the apk.  Have you tried uninstalling the app, wiping the phone's cache partition, and then reinstalling the app?  I would try that first, especially if you don't regularly perform cache partition maintenance on your device.

It's the actual Facebook app, I get notifications from Facebook messenger. I've un-installed the app multiple times. I'm not familiar with how to do the apk thing. I'm pretty sure I've done the cache thing as well but I'll try that again.

If you cleared the Facebook app's cache already, try deleting the data. You will have to log back into Facebook and some phone specific app settings may be gone, but it will be clean.

I just did the cache partition, waiting to see if it works

I hope it does, but since the issue seems to be with the customizations (i.e. notifications), I would suspect something is garbled in the app data.
