Feedback on S23 series One UI 6.1 megathread

Every since updating to this verson, The most significant features i use are circle to search and the lockscreen widgets. Some bugs: slow charging speed, crappy lockscreen widget animations. And slightly more battery drain. Fix this samsung.

agreed, I hate this, and I take it as a change for the sake of change update. I swipe to the side in WAY too many apps for this to acceptable.

I'm one of the folks whose update to 6.1 UI has taken a virtual hammer to my previously nifty phone. Excessive battery drain, heating even when idle, and inconsistent charging. Had a big bump in mobile data usage from Android OS. [Also having some issues with the Samsung web browser but that's hit or miss].

With having to charge more frequently and it bouncing between being seemingly too quick or too slow, the phone heating and so on...is there a risk to using it 'as normal' while it's in this state? I've been using it as I would have used my phone previously when I had no issues. I often keep it in airplane mode and listen to downloaded audio during my long shifts but even that passive use is strenuous to the phone post update. 

For the time being, should I be basically be keeping my phone in the strictest battery settings and using it as little as possible? Am I running a risk of causing phone/battery damage by using it fully while it's having these issues? I don't want Samsung to finally roll out a patch only to find that damage occurred in the interim. But I'm also not sure if that's an actual worry to have for these kinds of issues.

The transition effect for unlocking the phone is also not working properly, it only works when unlocking from the lock screen but does not work unlocked from AOD screen. The widget & notification animation also needs improvement when going from Lock screen to AOD and vice-versa, every time they first have to shrink and then appear again, it is annoying.... Also I have faced the problem of AOD clock image retention, but goes away after some time. Samsung should also add depth effect to Clock just as IOS and Hyper OS....

My touchscreen will not work w out the s pen. I've tried every trouble shoot. They keep pushing a new phone on me. I just got this in November!

I was thinking about update to the S24 from my S23 Ultra but not now. If they do stupid **bleep** like this it sends up flags with me. Stupid move Samsung.

My screen only responds to the s pen now. Someone fix this!!!
