Feedback on S23 series One UI 6.1 megathread

Every since updating to this verson, The most significant features i use are circle to search and the lockscreen widgets. Some bugs: slow charging speed, crappy lockscreen widget animations. And slightly more battery drain. Fix this samsung.

since the one ui 6. 1 update my S23 is having a laundry list of issues that seems to grow daily.

1) finger print sensor will randomly not work and even several pecks on the screen doesn't even wake the phone up. then all of a sudden it recognizes my face 

2) I can't charge on a wireless charger without the phone getting extremely hot to the point that my car wireless charger sets off an alarm on my cluster 

3) android auto continues to fail and tell me to disconnect my VPN but I don't even have it turned on 🤷

4) Samsung Email - dont get me started on those issues which have been mentioned in other threads but I've yet to see solutions for

5) Samsung Pass is becoming and more unreliable as it sometimes just won't even auto fill like it doesn't have the info but if you search the account in question it's clearly in the wallet /password manager so you have to spend time making extra keystrokes for no apparent reason

6) I'm certain I'm about to max out my post so I'll stop now. 

I really would like to see these and other issues I haven't even gotten into here resolved. a one year removed flagship phone like the s23 ultra should be dang near perfect for the money spent. I love Samsung please fix

This has been the BIGGEST blunder for Samsung except when they started processing photos and went from amazing pictures on the S8 and lower to the trash post-processed photos we have now. 

The ui 6.1 is COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!! my back and recent apps buttons don't work when hidden.. swiping up from anywhere goes to the home screen..

Anyone has the same issue?
Since yesterday the fast charging and android auto has not working. Android auto notifies me I have to try another socket or cable, which is weird since I use original samsung cable and It worked before well in the same socket and same cable.
At the same time the fast charging stopped working too.
I have tried another original cable, install new update(one ui 6.1, last update for AA), and tried the car with an iphone (carplay working properly, so its not the socket)
Any recommendation or idea?

Since updating my S23 Ultra. It seems I can no longer adjust brightness on my AOD. It is way to dim. What gives.

Just got 6.1 on my s23 ultra and they crapped the bed on the AOD. I kind of knew it was coming based on what my girlfriend's s24 ultra had, but I didn't expect to lose all customization. Haven't dug much further into the update but AOD changes are a deal breaker for me. If I wanted an iPhone I would have purchased one of those instead. Oh yea and goodlock doesn't have a fix for it either. I think Samsung is going to have a tough time with this update. From what I'm seeing I guess I'll have to start looking at other brands again...

I concur! This aod issue is a major step back. Why remove an option that wasn't broken, and why should we have to depend on an 3rd party app to fix something that samsung removed. Goodlock isn't great either .
