Galaxy S23Hey there! I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be that your calendar is losing your appointments. Here's some troubleshooting that we can try
1. Check Sync Settings:
Samsung and Google Accounts: Ensure that both your Samsung and Google accounts are synced with the Calendar app and that auto-sync is enabled.
Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage Accounts.
Check Auto Sync: Tap the switch next to "Auto sync personal data" to turn it on.
Sync Individual Accounts: Select each of your accounts and adjust the sync settings as necessary to turn on the sync option for each account.
2. Verify Calendar App and Updates:
Update the Calendar App:
Make sure you're using the latest version of the Calendar app. Check your device's app store for updates.
Check for Calendar Visibility:
Open the Calendar app, tap the menu (top left), and ensure the box to the left of the calendar's name is checked.
3. Ensure Events are Added to the Correct Calendar:
Check Account Association: If you're using a Google Calendar, make sure you're adding events to a calendar associated with your Google Account.
Verify Event Calendar: When creating an event, check the calendar it's added to.
4. Other Potential Issues:
Internet Connection:
Ensure you have a stable internet connection (data or Wi-Fi) and are not in airplane mode.
Samsung Cloud Backup:
If you have backed up your calendar events to Samsung Cloud, you can try restoring them.
Manage Calendars:
Open the calendar app, tap the Hamburger Menu in the top left, and then tap "Manage Calendars" to ensure the correct calendars are enabled.
Check Trash:
In rare cases, events might be marked as spam and moved to the trash. Check your trash folder to see if any events are there.
Third-Party Calendar Apps:
If you're using third-party calendar apps, ensure they are properly configured and synced with your Samsung Calendar
I would also suggest submitting an error report by going to the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.
