So i got into a fight at school a few week ago because a kid broke my phone (yes i won) but the phone sustained some pretty major damage, the screen at the bottom right is.mutilated. so originally only the bottom half of the screen registered touch but a few days later i set my phone down to play on my computer and all of the sudden my phone isnt working. I knew the battery wasnt dead so i js figured the screen was broken so i sighed and set it down. And no matter what i did, the phone would not work. So i gave up. Untill a day later on monday when it for SOME REASON came on because my alarm was on. Then it stopped. So yesterday i connected it to hdmi and gave it mouse and keyboard input and low and behold. Works just fine. But then i made the wild discovery that my touchscreen STILL works after the display not working. Please help, is this a common issue?

Hello, thanks for reaching out, and am sorry to hear of this. When your device is physically damaged as you described, the best method is to get service for repairs.

For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1. Since your phone was physically damaged, there is no way to reliably predict how it may work.

How much in taxes and stuff does samsung charge on top of the repair cost, and does it require any subscriptions?
