Samsung needs a feature to unsend a message. That would be nice

You do realize that even if there *was* an unsend feature, there would be no way to prevent the recipient from having read it in the time period from when it was sent to when it was delivered to when it was unsent, so IMO, it would be a useless feature anyway.  I can unsend in FB Messenger, but I get a notice that a message was unsent, I don't know what they see on the other end.  If you and your recipients also use FB messenger, you can just use that as your texting app.

Google's unsend is only for a very short period of time, like 5 minutes, so you have to basically realize immediately that you sent a message you didn't want to send. I didn't say that FB messages was better than Google messages, only that it had an unsend - and I can unsend a message sent a month ago (I know this because I just tried to see if the option comes up). So, if the OP is in the habit of mis-sending messages that they need to unsend, they should switch messaging apps if possible.

This is exactly why I subscribe to the practice of thinking twice and pressing send once.

Text messages can be used in a court of law, there would therefore be legal ramifications for "unsending" a message after all parties have received them.
