It says that my card is not supported even though my bank supports contactless payments.

Supporting contactless payments and allowing the card in mobile wallets are two different things.

Not all cards are supported by Samsung Wallet. It doesn't matter whether the card supports contactless payments.

I have two credit cards, but I could only add one of them to my Wallet. The other card's bank doesn't have an agreement with Samsung, so that card is not supported.

EDIT: If you can use Google Wallet, you might want to try that app instead. I get the impression that they support more financial institutions than Samsung Wallet.

Kind of glad I've got Apple pay then because all my cards are in there including my blood donor card which was a kind of cool thing and it must be a thing with the Apple wallet but yeah totally agree some cards some Bank some financial institutions some credit card companies don't have agreements with Samsung or Apple or Google even it's you know it depends so if they don't have it it doesn't matter if the phone like you said can support contactless payments or the card can support contact with payments if the card issuer doesn't have an agreement then it doesn't matter

Yeah, I've had zero problems adding cards to Google Wallet, I just assumed it was because they were in G-Pay, but it may just be that more banks support Google Wallet because it was first. Most banks will let you add the card from within the banking site/app.  That's the best way to find out which wallet is supported.  For example, Chase has option to add to any/all of the following directly from the bank:  PayPal, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay.
