Not getting message notifications

I've checked and the do not disturb is off. The notifications are set to allow. But my notification for text messages are not showing at all. I have an S23 ultra. Can anyone help?

If it's just messages, go to notifications for just messages, and see if it's turned to silent notifications

Wait you mean it is on for the app? Or the overall phone

It's on for the app, and the phone but I get no notifications. Not in the notification bar on the top of the screen or on the message app itself.

Well, now I'm confused. If it's really an annoyance for you, you might want to take it to samsung care or talk to someone there.

Have you tried switching to Google messages to see if you get notifications ehen you use that app?

That's the app I use.

Do you have notificstion categories turned on and allow notifications for new messages? See if switching to Samsung messages gets notificatuons.
